HTC-NUTRUNNER - precision and speed developed in Denmark

Efficient assembly requires more than just torque – it requires a tool that combines speed, durability and precision.
Based on 62 years of experience, Folke-Larsen Eftf. A/S has developed the HTC-nutrunner – a Danish-made nutrunner with a focus on quality, knowledge and professional service. As founder of the FLAIR brand and CEO of Folke-Larsen Eftf. A/S, Peter Larsson identified the need for a nutrunner that would ensure fast and even tightening, be durable and comfortable to work with – while significantly speeding up the assembly process. The HTC series has been developed in close collaboration with our trusted partners and based on customer feedback for higher working speeds, precise torque adjustment and ergonomic design.

The HTC-nutrunner is up to 289% faster than traditional cordless nutrunners and the robust construction is designed to withstand intensive use without compromising reliability. At the same time, cordless battery technology gives you freedom and flexibility in your daily work.

Today, HTC-nutrunner are used in many industries – industry, energy, agriculture, transport and construction – where efficiency and precision are essential.

Branches

Industrial

Ideal for serial assembly or maintenance on production lines where precision and speed must go hand in hand.

Energy

Perfect for tightening bolts on wind turbines, transformer stations and other critical installations - often at height or in hard-to-reach areas where the ease of use of cordless tools is an advantage.

Agriculture

Suitable for the production and maintenance of large agricultural machinery where durability and reliability are important.

Construction equipment

Ideal for assembly and maintenance of construction machinery and equipment where precise torque and high reliability are essential.

Building & Construction

Ideal for steel assembly and connections in large structures where strength and consistent torque are essential.

Transportation

Highly effective in the maintenance and assembly of heavy vehicles such as trucks, trains and specialised machinery, where correct torque tightening ensures uptime and safety.

FAQ

What makes the HTC-nutrunner different - and more efficient - than traditional cordless nutrunners?

The HTC-nutrunner combines speed, precision and easy handling in one solution. It is up to 289% faster than conventional cordless nutrunners. It has simple and intuitive torque adjustment and is designed for demanding operations in industry, energy, agriculture, construction and transportation. Cordless tools give you the freedom to work without worrying about cables and plugs. You get the same power as with pneumatic or corded solutions, but with more flexibility.

The HTC-Nutrunner is lightweight and ergonomically designed to reduce unnecessary strain on shoulders and arms, even during repetitive tasks. This is particularly important in industries where daily torque operations are frequent and physically demanding.

The HTC-nutrunner is designed to create a better working environment. It is quiet and can be used without hearing protection, benefiting both the user and colleagues in the same room. This means less noise and more comfort in everyday life. There is no vibration or twisting when using the HTC-nutrunner.

Yes, it does! The HTC-nutrunner performs both pre-tightening and final tightening – all in a single operation. This saves time and eliminates manual steps increasing overall efficiency and making it easier to maintain a consistent workflow.

The HTC-nutrunner is equipped with a high-capacity battery that allows many tightening operations on a single charge. This minimises downtime and allows uninterrupted work – even in demanding environments.
For example, the HTC-250 can perform up to 1,114 tightenings on a 5.0 Ah battery or 463 tightenings on a 2.5 Ah battery (tested with 90° tightening on an M14 bolt).

The two speeds allow fast and precise work. It gives the user full control of the task and ensures an ideal speed-to-power balance – resulting in high productivity.

First gear, where the HTC-nutrunner runs at maximum speed. As soon as clamping force/torque is required, the machine shifts effortlessly into second gear. The speed is reduced as the machine gets closer to the final torque.

Yes, it is. While not everyone needs advanced data collection today, the HTC-nutrunner is built with the technology for it. That means it’s ready to meet the demands for documentation of tightening operations when the time comes. The HTC-nutrunner stores the last 60,000 tightenings, which can be transferred to a PC or similar device.

The HTC-Nutrunner range is available in a variety of models with different reactions and torque ranges, so you can choose the one that best adapts to your requirements:

Straight arm – for standard open access applications.

Angled reaction arm – for confined workspaces where space is limited.

Custom reaction arms – for complex or customised solutions.

The range covers a wide torque range, making it suitable for everything from light assembly to high torque applications on large structures.
